welcome to the first annual pink weekend
SoAsh Haberdash and Local Mercantile have partnered with Visit Ashland to bring the first annual Pink Weekend, encouraging everyone to shop local first this Christmas Season. For the ulitmate collab, we opened the event up to any locally owned retail business in Boyd and Greenup Counties. We are excited to have over 40 locations participating this year. Don’t forget to shop local, make a big impact, and share your fun on social media with #AKYxRKY.
USE THE DIGITAL PASSPORT AND WIN
Use the pink map to make your way to the locally owned retailers and restaurants participating in Pink Weekend. To join the challenge follow these steps.
At the first stop, tap the location and then tap “Mark as Visitied”
On the next screen select “Go to Challenge”
On the next screen Sign in to begin.
Once you are enrolled in the challenge, the option to “Check in” will appear at each location.
After spending at least $15, you will be given the check in code that is unique for each location.
Points and Check-ins are awarded at each location.
The more points you earn the more chances to win.
Different prizes are awarded to digital passport users than the paper passport users.
Winners will be selected at random on Monday, November 21st on Facebook Live and notified by email. The more checkins and points you earn the more chances you have to win.

Spend at least $15 at the location and get your passport stamped.
Share your passport and shopping experience with us on social media using #AKYxRKY
On Sunday, November 19 before 11:59 pm, take a photo of your passport and email it to: brandy.clark@visitaky.com.
Chances to win prizes
For every photo you share on social media you get 1 entry, the more photos the more entries to win.
Email your passport on the last day of Pink Weekend by 11:59 pm is 1 entry
Each stamp on your emailed passport is 1 entry.
For 10 extra entries, send your total dollar amount spent for the weekend shopping at participating locations in your email.
You do not have to go to every location to qualify for prizes, and the passport doesn’t have to be “full” to qualify for prizes.
